Opal Base is a camouflage base for covering and leveling nails.

Properties:

  • Mildly acidic with a pH of 5-6.

  • Elastic and flexible.

  • Provides high natural nail coverage due to high pigmentation.

  • May result in minimal shrinkage during the wear period due to its elasticity.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Offers 3-4 weeks of hold without lifting.

  • Has a neutral scent.

  • Hypoallergenic.

  • Can be easily removed by both filing and using liquid remover.

  • Does not run and self-levels quickly.

  • Requires a LUNAmoon Rubber Base as a base layer.

  • Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

  • Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

  • The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W (it must be an original lamp).

  • Important rule when leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

  • Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when working with the brush.

Application:

  1. Removal.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.

  3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

  6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Use an orange wood stick, place the wipe on it, and wipe everything around the cuticle area and in the grooves.

  7. Use primer if desired, but if the base for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, it is not necessary.

  8. Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Trace all nail grooves and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

  9. Remove the tacky layer.

  10. Level with LUNAmoon Opal Base. Cure for 90 seconds under the lamp.

  11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail tip to support the free edge.

  12. Remove the tacky layer.

  13. Cover with Top Coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine might be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Do not store for more than 18 months after opening.

Return:

A return is possible within the scope of the statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The goods should be returned in full and, if possible, unused. 

For hygienic reasons, opened or used products may be excluded from return, provided that the legal requirements for this are met.
