We are pleased that you are interested in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we provide you with detailed information about how we handle your data.

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Every time a website is accessed, the web server merely saves an automatically generated server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the retrieval. This access data is analyzed solely for the purpose of ensuring the trouble-free operation of the site and improving our offering. This serves to protect our legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offering, which outweigh our interests in the process of balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All access data is deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting

The services for hosting and displaying the website are provided in part by our service providers as part of processing on our behalf. Unless otherwise explained in this privacy policy, all access data and all data collected in forms provided for this purpose on this website are processed on their servers. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.

2. Data processing for contract execution and contact

2.1 Data processing for contract execution

For the purpose of executing the contract (including inquiries regarding and processing of any existing warranty and performance deficiency claims, as well as any statutory update obligations) in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, we collect personal data if you voluntarily share it with us as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, as in these cases we urgently require the data for contract execution and cannot dispatch the order without it. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms.

Further information on the processing of your data, in particular on its disclosure to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment, and shipping processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy. After the contract has been fully executed, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of the tax and commercial law retention periods in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, or we reserve the right to further data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

Merchandise management system

For order and contract processing, we use merchandise management systems from external service providers. Our service providers act on our behalf as part of commissioned data processing. If you have any questions about our service providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.

2.2 Customer account

If you have given your consent for this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR by opting to open a customer account, we will use your data for the purpose of opening the customer account and storing your data for further future orders on our website. It is possible to delete your customer account at any time, which can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described in this privacy policy or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account. After your customer account is deleted, your data will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, or we reserve the right to further data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

2.3 Contacting us

As part of customer communication, we collect personal data for the processing of your inquiries in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if you voluntarily provide this information to us when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as in these cases we urgently require the data to process your contact. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. After your inquiry has been fully processed, your data will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, or we reserve the right to further data use that is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

3. Data processing for the purpose of shipping

For the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, we pass your data on to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods.

4. Data processing for payment processing

When processing payments in our online shop, we work with these partners: technical service providers, credit institutions, payment service providers.

Depending on the selected payment method, we pass the data necessary for the processing of the payment transaction to our technical service providers who act on our behalf as part of commissioned data processing, or to the commissioned credit institutions, or to the selected payment service provider, insofar as this is necessary for processing the payment. This serves the fulfillment of the contract in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In some cases, the payment service providers themselves collect the data required for processing the payment, e.g., on their own website or via technical integration in the ordering process. 6. Cookies and other technologies

General information

To make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies on various pages, including so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted again after the end of the browser session, i.e., after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

Protection of privacy for end devices
When using our online offering, we use absolutely necessary technologies to be able to provide the explicitly requested telemedia service. The storage of information in your device or access to information that is already stored in your device does not require consent in this respect.

For non-essential functions, the storage of information in your device or access to information that is already stored in your device requires your consent. We point out that if consent is not given, parts of the website may not be fully usable. Any consent you have given will remain in effect until you adjust or reset the respective settings on your device.

Possible subsequent data processing by cookies and other technologies
We use technologies that are strictly necessary for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g., shopping cart function). Through these technologies, your IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website (e.g., information on the content of the shopping cart), are collected and processed. This serves our overriding legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offering in the context of a balancing of interests, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

In addition, we use technologies to fulfill the legal obligations to which we are subject (e.g., to be able to prove consent to the processing of your personal data) as well as for web analysis and online marketing. Further information on this, including the respective legal basis for data processing, can be found in the following sections of this privacy policy.

You can find the cookie settings for your browser at the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™

Insofar as you have consented to the use of the technologies in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact option described in the privacy policy.

7. Use of cookies and other technologies

Insofar as you have given your consent for this in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, we use the following cookies and other technologies from third-party providers on our website. After the purpose has ceased and the use of the respective technology by us has ended, the data collected in this context will be deleted. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Further information on your revocation options can be found in the "Cookies and other technologies" section. Further information, including the basis of our cooperation with the individual providers, can be found with the individual technologies. If you have any questions about the providers and the basis of our cooperation with them, please contact the contact option described in this privacy policy.

7.1 Use of Google services

We use the technologies described below from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Google technologies is generally transmitted to a server of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. There is no adequacy decision from the European Commission for the USA. Our cooperation with them is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it will be truncated by activating IP anonymization before being stored on Google's servers. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and truncated there. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Further information on data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, Google Analytics automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address is generally not merged with other data from Google. Data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Google.

For web analysis and advertising purposes, the Google Analytics extension function, the so-called DoubleClick cookie, enables your browser to be recognized when visiting other websites. Google will use this information to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage.

Google AdSense

Our website uses Google AdSense to market space for third-party advertisements. These advertisements are displayed to you in various places on this website. The so-called DoubleClick cookie enables the display of interest-based advertising by collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) and by automatically assigning a pseudonymous UserID, which is used to determine interests based on visits to this and other websites.

Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results as well as on third-party websites, the so-called Google remarketing cookie is set when visiting our website, which enables interest-based advertising by automatically collecting and processing data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website) using a pseudonymous CookieID and based on the pages you have visited. Any further data processing only takes place if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. In this case, if you are logged into Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing.

For website analysis and event tracking, we use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure your subsequent usage behavior if you reached our website via a Google Ads advertisement. Cookies may be used for this purpose, and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or newsletter registration) may be recorded, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms.

Google Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager allows us to manage various codes and services on our website. When implementing individual tags, Google may also process personal data (e.g., IP address, online identifiers (including cookies)). Data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Google.

Using the Google Tag Manager allows for the integration of various services/technologies.
If you do not wish for individual tracking services to be used and have therefore deactivated them, this deactivation remains in effect for all affected tracking tags integrated by the Google Tag Manager.

YouTube Video Plugin

For the integration of third-party content, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information) is collected via the YouTube Video Plugin in the extended data protection mode we use, transmitted to Google, and subsequently processed by Google, only if you play a video.

7.2 Use of Facebook services

Use of Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies described below from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook (by Meta)" or "Meta Platforms Ireland"). With the Facebook Pixel, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or newsletter registration) is automatically collected and stored, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. As part of so-called advanced data matching, additional information for matching purposes is collected and stored in hashed form, which can be used to identify individuals (e.g., names, email addresses, and phone numbers). For this purpose, a cookie is automatically set by the Facebook Pixel when you visit our website, which automatically enables your browser to be recognized when visiting other websites via a pseudonymous CookieID. Facebook (by Meta) will merge this information with other data from your Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage, in particular personalized and group-based advertising.
Information about your use of our website that is automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies is generally transmitted to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. There is no adequacy decision from the European Commission for the USA. If the data transfer to the USA falls under our responsibility, our cooperation is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Further information on data processing by Facebook can be found in the privacy policy of Facebook (by Meta).

Facebook Analytics

As part of Facebook Business Tools, statistics on visitor activity on our website are created from the data collected by the Facebook Pixel regarding your use of our website. Data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Facebook (by Meta). This analysis serves the optimal presentation and marketing of our website.

Facebook Ads (Ads Manager)

We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) as well as on other platforms. We determine the parameters of the respective advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision regarding the placement of ads with individual users. Unless otherwise specified for individual technologies, data processing is carried out on the basis of an agreement between joint controllers in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. The joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transmission to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this.

Based on the statistics on visitor activity on our website created via the Facebook Pixel, we run group-based advertising via Facebook Custom Audience on Facebook (by Meta) by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. Facebook (by Meta) acts as our data processor for the advanced data matching (see above) that takes place to determine the respective target group.

Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by the Facebook Pixel and the collected data about your usage behavior on our website, we run personalized advertising via Facebook Pixel remarketing.

Via Facebook Pixel conversions, we measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analysis and event tracking if you reached our website via a Facebook Ads advertisement. Data processing is based on a data processing agreement with Facebook (by Meta).
