Opal Base is a camouflaging base for covering and leveling nails.

Properties:

  • Weakly acidic with a pH of 5-6.

  • Elastic and flexible.

  • Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

  • May result in minimal shrinkage during the wear period due to its elasticity.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Offers hold for 3-4 weeks without lifting.

  • Has a neutral odor.

  • Hypoallergenic.

  • Easy to remove either by filing or using liquid remover.

  • Does not run and self-levels quickly.

  • Requires a base coat of LUNAmoon Rubber Base.

  • Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

  • Drying time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

  • The power of the lamp for drying should be 36-48 W (it must be an original lamp).

  • Important rule for leveling: the thickness at the tip of the nail should be 0.5 mm.

  • Thixotropic: becomes more fluid when the brush is moved during application.

Application:

  1. Removal.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length to be removed after leveling.

  3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

  6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: use an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and in the grooves.

  7. Use primer as desired, but if the base coat is sufficiently acidic, it is not required.

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. The movements should be massaging. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

  9. Remove the tacky layer.

  10. Level with LUNAmoon Opal Base. Cure for 90 seconds under the lamp.

  11. After leveling, file the shape. This is necessary to create thickness at the tip of the nail, which will support the free edge.

  12. Remove the tacky layer.

  13. Cover with top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. After drying, do not wipe with anything, as the shine could be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.

Return:

A return is possible within the scope of the statutory right of withdrawal within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The goods should be returned in full and, if possible, unused. 

For hygienic reasons, opened or used products may be excluded from return, provided that the legal requirements for this are met.
