Lunamoon Opal Base No. 7, 13ml

Opal Base is a camouflaging base coat for covering and leveling nails.

Features:

• Mildly acidic with a pH of 5-6.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• May cause minimal shrinkage during wear due to its elasticity.

• Medium consistency.

• Provides a hold of 3-4 weeks without lifting.

• Has a neutral odor.

• Hypoallergenic.

• Can be easily removed either by filing or using liquid remover.

• Does not run and self-levels quickly.

• Requires a base layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base.

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Drying time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• The lamp power for drying should be 36-48 W (must be an original lamp).

• Important rule for leveling: The thickness at the tip of the nail should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when the brush is moved during application.

Application:

1. Removal.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Use an orange wood stick, place a wipe over it, and wipe around the cuticle area and in the grooves.

7. Use primer as desired, but if the base for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, it is not required.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

9. Remove the tacky layer.

10. Level with LUNAmoon Opal Base. Cure under the lamp for 90 seconds.

11. After leveling, file the shape. This is necessary to create a thickness at the tip of the nail that supports the free edge.

12. Remove the tacky layer.

13. Cover with Top Coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine might be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
