MICROSTOP Sterilization Pouches

Pack of 100 self-adhesive MicroSTOP sterilization pouches for steam or hot air sterilizers. They are used for the safe packaging of your manicure instruments during the sterilization process and keep them sterile for up to 50 days. The pouches comply with the European CE standard.

MicroSTOP pouches are rectangular bags made from high-quality, eco-friendly, and heat-resistant paper. The self-adhesive flap ensures a secure and airtight seal. Each pouch features a color indicator that changes color during sterilization depending on the temperature and duration. This Class 4 sterility indicator allows for quality control of the process and reliably indicates whether the sterilization was successful. It also makes it easier to distinguish between sterilized and non-sterilized pouches.

Using the sterilization pouches

1. Preparation: Check the pouch for integrity and expiration date before use. Do not use damaged or expired pouches.

2. Select pouch size: Choose the size appropriate for the instruments. Fill the pouch up to a maximum of 3/4 to prevent the seams from tearing during sterilization.

3. Place instruments: Align handles towards the opening, active parts towards the closed end of the pouch.

4. Seal the pouch: Press air out before sealing. Peel off the protective strip from the adhesive area, fold the flap along the fold line, and press firmly – from the center outwards.

5. Sterilization: Place pouches with the instruments into the sterilization baskets. Use only approved hot air sterilizers such as MicroSTOP devices. Set temperature and time according to your sterilizer's instructions.

6. Sterility control: The chemical indicator (Class 4) changes color during sterilization. This allows you to verify if the sterilization was successful after the process is complete.

7. Storage: Sterility is maintained for up to 50 days. The pouches are intended for single use only.

8. Opening: Open the pouch at the flap side using sterile scissors. Place instruments on a sterile surface or use them directly.

9. Disposal: Dispose of used pouches properly.
