Lunamoon PREMIUM BUILDER GEL No. 2 (15-50ml)

Classic Premium Extension Gel – a polymeric light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows for significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that activate the polymerization process via UV light at a specific wavelength.

Properties:

• Acid-free.

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

• Medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

• Suitable for "extension on upper forms/dual forms".

• Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

• Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat.

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when the brush is moved.

• Can be additionally heated to make the gel more fluid.

• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. At a thickness of less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect durability.

• No shrinkage and holds the arch well.

• Requires a base coat of Rubber Base.

• Polymerization wavelength – 380-420 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36-48W.

• Maximum layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

• Full polymerization – 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Removal.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length which will be removed after leveling.

3. File with a 180-240 grit file without applying strong pressure to the top of the nail to lift the nail plate, or use a 100 grit file.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after finishing.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Wrap a wipe around an orange stick and wipe around the cuticle and side folds.

7. Use primer if desired; if the base used as an undercoat is sufficiently acidic, it is not required.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Cover all nail edges and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

9. Wipe off the dispersion layer.

10. Leveling. When leveling with gel, maintain a distance of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the free edge so that the free edge holds up.

12. If the nail is thin, it may warp. Therefore, 1 mm of the natural nail must be filed out from underneath. This prevents the material from lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail will lift from the rigid material at the free edge.

13. After filing, wipe off the dispersion layer and cover with gel polish.

14. Apply a top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to avoid losing the shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal.

2. Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape into a round form.

3. File with a 180-240 grit file without applying strong pressure to the top of the nail to lift the nail plate, or use a 100 grit file.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap after finishing.

11. Create the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure under the lamp for 30 seconds.

12. File the free edge and adjust to the desired shape.

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove excess dust.

14. Re-apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base to the treated areas. Cure under the lamp for 30 seconds.

15. Level with gel, cure under the lamp, and set for the first 10–15 seconds. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, set for the first 20 seconds.

16. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds.

17. Wipe off the dispersion layer before covering with gel polish.

18. Apply a top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to avoid losing the shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
