Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 58 13ml

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main component of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main component of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace a base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Complete polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a rubber base underlay.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Preparation:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after leveling.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   Use a primer if desired. If the base used for the underlay is sufficiently acidic, the primer is not necessary.
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing in. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the nail's edge that will support the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, it is essential to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside to prevent material detachment. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could detach from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the tacky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Apply topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine could be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Preparation:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round shape.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with LUNAmoon rubber base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. Movements should be rubbing in. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the tacky layer.

5. Form construction:
   Apply the form for the extension of the free edge of the nail.
   Build the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Dry for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and give it the desired shape.
   Wipe off the tacky layer and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas again with LUNAmoon rubber base. Dry for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, keep the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds so it adheres. If the gel is very tacky or glittery, keep the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Dry completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After drying:
   Remove the tacky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Apply topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine could be lost.
