Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 54 (13-30ml)

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main ingredient of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main ingredient of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace a base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Full polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a rubber base underlay.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more liquid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with nail prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle zone and nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base used as an underlay is acidic enough, a primer is not required.
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create thickness at the nail edge to hold the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, be sure to file 1 mm of natural nail from underneath to prevent the material from lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail might detach from the hard material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round form.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with nail prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle zone and nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with LUNAmoon rubber base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the sticky layer.

5. Forming:
   Apply the form to extend the free edge of the nail.
   Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape as desired.
   Wipe off the sticky layer and remove excess dust.
   Apply LUNAmoon rubber base over the treated areas again. Cure for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, hold the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds so it adheres. If the gel is highly sticky or glittery, hold the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Cure completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After curing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.
