Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 50 (13-30ml)

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main component of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main component of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Full polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File from the top with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base for the underlay is sufficiently acidic, the primer is not necessary.
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. The movements should be scrubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a gap of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create a thickness at the edge of the nail that supports the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, it is essential to file 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting of the material. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could detach from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the stickiness and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine might be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round form.
   File from the top with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with LUNAmoon Rubber Base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. The movements should be scrubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the stickiness.

5. Form construction:
   Place the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
   Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Dry for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape to the desired form.
   Wipe off the stickiness and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas with LUNAmoon Rubber Base again. Dry for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, keep the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds so that it adheres. If the gel is very sticky or glittery, keep the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Dry completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After drying:
   Remove the stickiness and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine might be lost.
