Lunamoon Elegant Light Acrygel No. 2 13ml

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main component of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main component of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Complete polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a rubber base layer.

• Can be heated additionally to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without applying heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers).
   Step one: Wipe the nail surface.
   Step two: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe over it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base used as an underlayer is sufficiently acidic, the primer is not required.
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use scrubbing motions. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a gap of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, be sure to file 1 mm of natural nail from the inside to prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the natural nail is very soft, the natural nail could separate from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Apply a top coat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal:
   Trim the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round form.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without applying heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe per 5 fingers).

   Step two: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe over it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

   Use the primer.

4. Underlayer with LUNAmoon Rubber Base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use scrubbing motions. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the sticky layer.

5. Form construction:
   Apply the form for the extension of the free nail edge.
   Build the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape as desired.
   Wipe off the sticky layer and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas again with LUNAmoon Rubber Base. Cure for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, hold the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds to ensure adhesion. If the gel is highly sticky or glittery, hold the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Cure completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After curing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Apply a top coat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.
