Lunamoon Diamond Gel No. 6 15ml

Classic Diamond builder gel is a polymeric, light-curing material that allows for a significant extension of the nail plate thanks to its strength. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

• Medium consistency

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

• Suitable for extension with "dual forms"

• No burning in the lamp

• Becomes thicker in the cold, thinner in the heat

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

• Can be additionally warmed up to become more fluid

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

• Does not shrink, maintains the C-curve well

• Strictly requires a Rubber Base as a foundation

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

• Full cure: 120 seconds

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Remove old coating

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after the build-up

3. Rouge the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 cellulose pads (1 pad for 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then use a wooden stick and pad to clean the nail edges and cuticles

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 seconds

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Build up with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds

11. File the shape after building up to reinforce the nail tip

12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent liftings

13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove old coating

2. Shorten nail to 1 mm and file into a round shape

3. Rouge with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above

7. Use LUNAmoon Primer

8. Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 seconds

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Attach form for the free nail edge

11. Apply transparent gel build-up for extension, cure for 30 seconds

12. File to shape and refine

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust

14. Apply Rubber Base again to the treated areas, cure for 30 seconds

15. Build up with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at the 10th–15th second. For sticky gel or glitter, pinch after 20 seconds

16. Cure for another 120 seconds

17. Remove the dispersion layer

18. Apply color polish

19. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
