The classic Diamond builder gel is a light-curing polymer material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Key features:

  • Acid-free

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

  • Medium consistency

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

  • Suitable for the "filing-free extension" technique

  • Suitable for extensions with "dual forms"

  • No burning in the lamp

  • Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

  • Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well

  • Requires a rubber base as a foundation

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

  • Full curing: 120 seconds

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove the old coating

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after the build

  3. Rouge the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

  4. Perform a manicure

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Two passes with 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticle

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if the base is sufficiently acidic

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 sec.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer

  10. Build with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm distance to the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

  11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip

  12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine
