Classic Diamond builder gel is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

  • Medium consistency

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

  • Suitable for extension with "dual forms"

  • No burning in the lamp

  • Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

  • Can be heated additionally to become more fluid

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well

  • Requires a rubber base as a foundation

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

  • Full cure: 120 seconds

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

  1. Remove the old coating

  2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after construction

  3. Rouge the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure, or use a 100-grit buffer

  4. Perform a manicure

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Two passes using 4 cellulose pads (1 pad for 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then use a wooden stick and pad to clean the nail edges and cuticle

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer

  10. Construct with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

  11. File the shape after construction to strengthen the nail tip

  12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine
