Classic Diamond builder gel is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Special features:

  • Acid-free

  • Shock-absorbing; does not break upon impact

  • Medium consistency

  • Medium pigmentation; covers the free edge of the nail

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

  • Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms"

  • No burning sensation in the lamp

  • Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid with brush strokes

  • Can be additionally warmed to increase fluidity

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

  • No shrinkage; holds the C-curve well

  • Requires a Rubber Base as a foundation

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

  • Full curing: 120 seconds

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

  1. Remove the old coating

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after building

  3. Roughen the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

  4. Perform a manicure

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes using 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticles

  7. Apply primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush, cover all edges, and cure for 60 sec.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer

  10. Build with gel, maintaining a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

  11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip

  12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and apply color gel polish

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine
