Classic Diamond builder gel is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Special features:

  • Acid-free

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

  • Medium consistency

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

  • Suitable for extension with "dual forms"

  • No burning sensation in the lamp

  • Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid with brush strokes

  • Can be additionally heated to become more fluid

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well

  • Requires a rubber base as a mandatory foundation

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

  • Full cure: 120 seconds

Method of application:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove the old coating

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after building

  3. Rough up the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

  4. Perform a manicure

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Two passes with 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticle area

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 seconds

  9. Remove the dispersion layer

  10. Build with gel, leaving 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds

  11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip

  12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterward to preserve the shine
