Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymeric, light-curing material that allows for a significant extension of the nail plate due to its strength. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free.

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail.

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

  • Suitable for extension with "dual forms".

  • Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

  • Becomes thicker in the cold and thinner in the heat.

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed.

  • Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid.

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well.

  • Requires a Rubber Base as a foundation.

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

  • Full curing: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove the old coating.

  2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after construction.

  3. Rough up the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure, or use a 100-grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If removers are used, wash hands with soap.

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticle area.

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, cover all edges, and cure for 60 seconds.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer.

  10. Construct with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

  11. File the shape after construction to strengthen the nail tip.

  12. Thin nails: File away 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and apply colored polish.

  14. Apply Top Coat and cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine.
