Lunamoon Acid Free Base (13-30ml)

ACID FREE BASE is an elastic, transparent, acid-free base for leveling nails.

Properties:

• Suitable for clients with an allergy to acids in materials.

• Can be applied to damaged nails.

• Excellent removal by both filing and using liquid.

• Can be used as a base coat for cover bases and gel polishes.

• Shrinks when applied thickly.

• Does not cause a burning sensation under the lamp.

• Suitable for self-leveling on short nails.

• Has a medium consistency and is self-leveling.

• Is acid-free.

• Suitable for pedicures.

• Ensures durability for up to 3 weeks.

• The power of the lamp for drying the base should be 36–48 W. The lamp must be an original.

Method of application:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after leveling.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without applying heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with nail prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Ultrabond:
   Apply Ultrabond (optional). Before application, it is important to wipe the brush on a lint-free wipe to remove excess material. Apply Ultrabond with a semi-dry brush to all 5 fingers and wait 1 minute for the Ultrabond to absorb into the nail plate.

4. Base coat (Acid Free Base LUNAmoon):
   Apply the Acid Free Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the tacky layer.

5. Leveling:
   Apply the Acid Free Base LUNAmoon for leveling and cure under the lamp for 90 seconds.
   File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the nail edge, which holds the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp, so it is essential to file 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath. This prevents material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail may detach from the hard material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   After filing the shape, remove the tacky layer and cover the nail with a thin layer of gel polish or a cover base.
   Apply a top coat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.
