Classic building gel Diamond is a polymer, light-curing material that allows for significant extension of the nail plate thanks to its strength. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

  • Medium consistency

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

  • Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms"

  • No burning in the lamp

  • Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner when warm

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

  • Can be additionally warmed to become more fluid

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well

  • Strictly requires a Rubber Base as a foundation

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

  • Full curing: 120 seconds

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

  1. Remove the old coating

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after building

  3. Rouge the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

  4. Perform a manicure

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Two passes with 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First clean the surface, then clean the nail edges and cuticle with a wooden stick and wipe

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 sec.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer

  10. Build with gel, leaving 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

  11. File the shape after building to strengthen the nail tip

  12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain shine
