Lunamoon Diamond Gel No. 2 15ml

Classic building gel Diamond is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

• Medium consistency

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free nail edge

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

• Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms"

• Does not burn in the lamp

• Becomes thicker in the cold, thinner in the heat

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

• Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without affecting durability

• No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well

• Requires a Rubber Base foundation

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

• Full cure: 120 seconds

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove the old coating

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after building

3. Rough the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes with 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then clean the nail edges and cuticle with a wooden stick and a wipe

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base using a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Build with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip

12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove the old coating

2. Shorten the nail to 1 mm and file into a round shape

3. Rough the surface with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above

7. Use LUNAmoon primer

8. Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Apply a form for the free nail edge

11. Apply transparent gel for extension, cure for 30 sec.

12. File the shape and refine the form

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust

14. Apply Rubber Base again to the treated areas, cure for 30 sec.

15. Build with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at the 10.–15. second mark. Pinch after 20 sec. if using sticky gel or glitter

16. Cure for another 120 sec.

17. Remove the dispersion layer

18. Apply color polish

19. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
