Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 61 13ml

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main component of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main component of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Full polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.

• Can be additionally warmed up to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the cuticle zone and the nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base for the underlay is sufficiently acidic, the primer is not necessary.
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use scrubbing motions. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a gap of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create a thickness at the edge of the nail that will hold the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, it is essential to file 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent the material from lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could lift from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine could be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round form.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the cuticle zone and the nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with LUNAmoon Rubber Base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use scrubbing motions. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the sticky layer.

5. Form construction:
   Apply the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
   Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape it as desired.
   Wipe off the sticky layer and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas again with LUNAmoon Rubber Base. Cure for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, keep the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds so it adheres. If the gel is highly sticky or contains glitter, keep the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Cure completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After curing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine could be lost.
