Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 2 (13-30ml)

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main ingredient of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main ingredient of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Complete polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending the nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more liquid consistency.

Method of application:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Preparation:
   Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without applying heavy pressure to lift the nail plate scales, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after application.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base used for the underlay is sufficiently acidic, the primer is not necessary.
   Apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be scrubbing. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a gap of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create a thickness at the edge of the nail that holds the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it might warp. Therefore, be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent the material from peeling off. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could detach from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine could be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Preparation:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round form.
   File the nail from above with a file (180-240 grit) without applying heavy pressure to lift the nail plate scales, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you work with removers, wash your hands with soap after application.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two applications. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, place a wipe on it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with Rubber Base LUNAmoon:
   Apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be scrubbing. Trace all nail folds and dry under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the sticky layer.

5. Form construction:
   Position the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
   Build the artificial nail shape with clear gel. Dry for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape as desired.
   Wipe off the sticky layer and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas again with Rubber Base LUNAmoon. Dry for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, hold the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds so it adheres. If the gel is very sticky or glittery, hold the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Dry completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After drying:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and dry under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after drying, as the shine could be lost.
