Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 19 13ml

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60-80% acrylic copolymer (the main ingredient of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20-30%), the main ingredient of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Complete polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a rubber base layer.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Removal:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after leveling.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with nail prep. Apply twice. Use 4 napkins for this (1 napkin for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap it with a napkin, and wipe the cuticle zone and the lateral nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base for the underlay is acidic enough, the primer is not necessary.
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing in. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a gap of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the edge of the nail to support the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, it is essential to file 1 mm of natural nail from underneath to prevent the material from peeling off. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could detach from the firm material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the stickiness and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine could be lost.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Removal:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a round shape.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without strong pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If you are working with removers, wash your hands with soap after use.
   Degrease the nail with nail prep. Apply twice. Use 4 napkins for this (1 napkin for 5 fingers).
   First step: Wipe the nail surface.
   Second step: Take an orange wood stick, wrap it with a napkin, and wipe the cuticle zone and the lateral nail folds.

   Use the primer.

4. Underlay with LUNAmoon rubber base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. The movements should be rubbing in. Outline all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the stickiness.

5. Form construction:
   Apply the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
   Build the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge and shape as desired.
   Wipe off the stickiness and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas with LUNAmoon rubber base again. Cure for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, keep the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds to allow it to adhere. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, keep the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Cure completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After curing:
   Remove the stickiness and cover the nail with a gel polish.
   Cover with a topcoat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine could be lost.
