Gel nail tips for nail extension are used by professional nail technicians to create long nails on the basis of short nails. The material lasts a long time, does not require full removal, and allows for correction – a maximum of 1–2 times. The tips are durable yet flexible, allowing for easy application on the nail without much effort. The tips are made of gel (acrylic), which makes it possible to file them and soak them in liquid for gel polish removal.

Size: 3 cm on the index finger

Extension technique:

1. • Cut the nail length to 1 mm and shape them round.

   • File the nail from the top with a 180-240 grit file to raise the scales of the nail plate, or use a 100 grit buffer.

   • Perform the manicure.

   • If you use removers, wash your hands with soap after the treatment.

   • Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Apply twice.

     • First application: Wipe the nail surface.

     • Second application: Use an orange stick with a cloth for the cuticle area and the nail folds.

   • Use a dehydrator (optional).

   • Apply the primer.

   • Apply a layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush using gentle, rubbing motions. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

   • Wipe off the stickiness.

   • Select the appropriate tip size.

   • Apply the base coat to the contact zone of the tips.

   • Place the tip on the nail, hold it, and cure until fully polymerized.

   • File the tips into the desired shape.

   • Remove excess dust and stickiness.

   • Apply Rubber Base again and cure for 30 seconds.

   • Level only with colored bases. The tips are already robust, so the additional application of firm material can lead to peeling.

   • Level with a clear base if using gel polish.

   • Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds.

   • Apply the top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

   • Do not wipe after curing to maintain the shine.

Correction technique:

1. • Remove the coating down to the tips. If there is any lifting, remove it with a nail drill.

   • File the nail slightly from the top with a 180-240 grit file or use a 100 grit buffer.

   • Correct the shape.

   • Perform the manicure.

   • If you use removers, wash your hands with soap after the treatment.

   • Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon. Apply twice.

     • First application: Wipe the nail surface.

     • Second application: Use an orange stick with a cloth for the cuticle area and the nail folds.

   • Use a dehydrator (optional).

   • Apply the primer.

   • Apply a layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush using gentle, rubbing motions. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

   • Wipe off the stickiness.

   • Level only with colored bases. The tips are already robust, so the additional application of firm material can lead to peeling.

   • Level with a clear base if using gel polish.

   • If there is a step under the nail, file it down.

   • Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds.

   • Apply the top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

   • Do not wipe after curing to maintain the shine.

Important: The correction can be performed 1 or a maximum of 2 times.
