Shimmer Gel – classic builder gel with glitter
Shimmer Gel is a classic light-curing builder gel with glitter that is ideal for nail extension and modeling. Thanks to its high stability, it allows for significant extension of the natural nail plate and ensures long-lasting and durable modeling.
The gel contains special photoinitiators that start the polymerization process as soon as the material is cured under UV or LED light of a specific wavelength.

Technical information
Polymerization wavelength: 365–405 nm
UV/LED lamp power: 36–48 W
Recommended material thickness:
• 0.5 mm at the nail tip
• 1 mm at the apex
Complete curing: 120 seconds

CLASSIC EXTENSION:
-
Remove the old coating.
-
Shorten the nail to 1 mm and file it round.
-
Rough up with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer.
-
Perform a manicure.
-
If using removers, wash hands with soap.
-
Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above.
-
Use LUNAmoon primer.
-
Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 sec.
-
Remove the dispersion layer.
-
Apply the form for the free edge of the nail.
-
Transparent gel build-up for the extension, cure for 30 sec.
-
File and shape the nail.
-
Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust.
-
Apply Rubber Base again to the treated areas, cure for 30 sec.
-
Build up with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at 10–15 seconds. For sticky or glitter gel, pinch after 20 sec.
-
Cure for a further 120 sec.
-
Remove the dispersion layer.
-
Apply color polish.
-
Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe off afterward to maintain the shine.
Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
