Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymer, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free.

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail.

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

  • Suitable for extension using "Dual Forms".

  • Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

  • Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in heat.

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid with brush strokes.

  • Can be additionally warmed to increase fluidity.

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

  • No shrinkage, maintains the C-curve well.

  • Strictly requires a Rubber Base as a base coat.

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

  • Full curing: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove the old coating.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after building.

  3. Roughen the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure or use a 100-grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Clean in two passes using 4 cellulose pads (1 pad for 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then clean the nail edges and cuticle with a wooden stick and a pad.

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, paint all edges, and cure for 60 seconds.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer.

  10. Build with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

  11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip.

  12. For thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish.

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterward to preserve the shine.
