Lunamoon Candy Gel No. 19 15ml

Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

• Medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail.

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

• Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms".

• Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in heat.

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed.

• Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid.

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

• No shrinkage, maintains the C-curve well.

• Requires a Rubber Base foundation.

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

• Full curing time: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after the build-up.

3. Rough up the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If removers are used, wash hands with soap.

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then clean the nail edges and cuticle with a wooden stick and wipe.

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

9. Remove the dispersion layer.

10. Build with gel, leaving 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

11. File the shape after the build-up to reinforce the nail tip.

12. For thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with colored polish.

14. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Shorten the nail to 1 mm and file into a round shape.

3. Rough up with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If removers are used, wash hands with soap.

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above.

7. Use LUNAmoon Primer.

8. Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

9. Remove the dispersion layer.

10. Attach the form for the free edge of the nail.

11. Build with transparent gel for the extension, cure for 30 sec.

12. File the shape and finish the form.

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust.

14. Re-apply Rubber Base to the treated areas, cure for 30 sec.

15. Build with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at the 10th–15th second. For sticky gel or glitter, pinch after 20 sec.

16. Cure for an additional 120 sec.

17. Remove the dispersion layer.

18. Apply colored polish.

19. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Do not store for longer than 18 months once opened.
