Lunamoon Candy Gel No. 17 15ml

Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymer, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

• Medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free nail edge.

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

• Suitable for extension with "dual forms".

• Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

• Becomes thicker in cold conditions and thinner in warm conditions.

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed.

• Can be additionally warmed to become more fluid.

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

• No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well.

• Mandatory requirement for a Rubber Base foundation.

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

• Full curing: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after the build.

3. Rough up the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes with 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticle.

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, coat all edges, cure for 60 seconds.

9. Remove the dispersion layer.

10. Build with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip.

12. For thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

13. Remove the dispersion layer and coat with color polish.

14. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Shorten the nail to 1 mm and file into a round shape.

3. Rough up with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above.

7. Use LUNAmoon Primer.

8. Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, coat all edges, cure for 60 seconds.

9. Remove the dispersion layer.

10. Apply a template for the free nail edge.

11. Build the extension with transparent gel, cure for 30 seconds.

12. File the shape and refine.

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust.

14. Re-apply Rubber Base to the treated areas, cure for 30 seconds.

15. Build with gel, place in the lamp and pinch at 10–15 seconds. For sticky gel or glitter, pinch after 20 seconds.

16. Cure for another 120 seconds.

17. Remove the dispersion layer.

18. Apply color polish.

19. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
