Lunamoon Candy Gel No. 16 15ml

Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for significant lengthening of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

• Medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free nail edge.

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

• Suitable for extension with "dual forms".

• Does not cause burning sensations in the lamp.

• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures, thinner in heat.

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed.

• Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid.

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

• No shrinkage, maintains the C-curve well.

• Requires a Rubber Base foundation without exception.

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

• Full curing time: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after construction.

3. Rough the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure, or use a 100-grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticle.

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 seconds.

9. Remove the dispersion layer.

10. Construct with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm margin from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

11. File the shape after construction to reinforce the nail tip.

12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish.

14. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
