Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, enables a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free.

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail.

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

  • Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms".

  • Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

  • Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in heat.

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid with brush strokes.

  • Can be additionally warmed to become more fluid.

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability.

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well.

  • Requires a Rubber Base as a base layer.

  • Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm.

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

  • Full curing: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove old coating.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after application.

  3. Roughen the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 cellulose pads (1 pad for 5 fingers). First, clean the surface, then use a wooden stick and pad to clean the nail edges and cuticles.

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base.

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, paint all edges, cure for 60 sec.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer.

  10. Apply gel, leaving 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 sec.

  11. File the shape after application to reinforce the nail tip.

  12. Thin nails: File out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish.

  14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 sec. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine.
