Lunamoon Light Acrygel No. 52 (13-30ml)

LIQUID GEL LIGHT ACRYGEL – an innovative material for strengthening, leveling, and extending nails. It is a symbiosis of polygel and base. It consists of 60–80% acrylic copolymer (the main ingredient of polygel) and a small amount of hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA, approx. 20–30%), the main ingredient of base coatings. Such a gel can completely replace the base.

Properties:

• Polymerization wavelength – 365–405 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36–48 W.

• Permissible layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the nail edge, 1 mm at the apex.

• Acid-free, medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Full polymerization – 120 seconds.

• Suitable only for strengthening and extending nails.

• Good cushioning properties.

• When strengthening with this gel, the natural nail must be filed.

• Requires a rubber base layer.

• Can be additionally heated to achieve a more fluid consistency.

Application method:

STRENGTHENING:

1. Preparation:
   Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after leveling.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If using removers, wash your hands with soap after application.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   Step 1: Wipe the nail surface.
   Step 2: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer (optional):
   If desired, use a primer. If the base used for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, a primer is not necessary.
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

4. Leveling:
   When leveling with gel, leave a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

5. Filing:
   File the shape after leveling to create a thickness at the edge of the nail that will support the free edge.
   If the nail was thin, it may warp. Therefore, be sure to file 1 mm of the natural nail from the underside to prevent material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the natural nail could separate from the rigid material at the free edge.

6. After filing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a top coat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as you might lose the shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Preparation:
   Shorten the nail length to 1 mm and shape the nail into a rounded shape.
   File the top of the nail with a file (180-240 grit) without heavy pressure to lift the scales of the nail plate, or use a buffer (100 grit).

2. Manicure:
   If using removers, wash your hands with soap after application.
   Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Apply twice. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers).
   Step 1: Wipe the nail surface.
   Step 2: Take an orange wood stick, wrap a wipe around it, and wipe the cuticle area and the nail folds.

3. Primer:
   Use a primer.

4. Underlayer with LUNAmoon Rubber Base:
   Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use rubbing motions. Trace all nail folds and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.
   Remove the sticky layer.

5. Forming:
   Apply the form for extending the free edge of the nail.
   Build the shape of the artificial nail with clear gel. Cure for 30 seconds.
   File the free edge to the desired shape.
   Wipe off the sticky layer and remove excess dust.
   Go over the treated areas with LUNAmoon Rubber Base again. Cure for 30 seconds.

6. Leveling with gel:
   When applying the gel, keep the nail in the lamp for 10–15 seconds to ensure adhesion. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, keep the nail in the lamp for 20 seconds.
   Cure completely under the lamp for 120 seconds.

7. After curing:
   Remove the sticky layer and cover the nail with gel polish.
   Cover with a top coat and cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing, as you might lose the shine.
