LUNAmoon Glass Gel №1 – transparent builder gel with glass effect
Glass Gel is a light-curing gel for strengthening and extending nails. The transparent color effect creates a particularly beautiful, deep glass look.
The color intensity depends on the layer thickness: applied thinly, the color appears slightly transparent; with a layer of up to 2 mm, it becomes more intense but remains transparent.

- Medium to slightly runny consistency
- Not sticky and easy to distribute with a brush
- Very good self-leveling properties
- Does not run during application
- Lower risk of air bubbles during application
- Suitable for strengthening natural nails
- Suitable for nail modeling without filing
- Suitable for extensions with dual forms
- Flexible against impacts and therefore less prone to cracks
- Becomes thicker in the cold and more fluid in the heat
- Can be slightly warmed to make the consistency more fluid
- Does not cause strong burning in the lamp
Important
- Always requires a base layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base
- The free edge of the nail should be at least 1 mm thick
- Pre-curing with a mini lamp: 10–15 seconds
- Recommended wavelength: 365–405 nm
- Recommended UV/LED lamp: 36–48 W
- Maximum layer thickness per curing: 2 mm
- Full curing: 120 seconds
- For material thicknesses over 3 mm, work in two steps with intermediate curing
Application – Strengthening
- Remove old material and prepare the nail plate.
- Lightly roughen the nail with a 220-grit file or a 100-grit buffer.
- Perform a manicure and thoroughly degrease the nail.
- Optionally use a primer.
- Apply a thin layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base and cure for 60 seconds.
- Remove the dispersion (sticky) layer.
- Apply Glass Gel 0.5–1 mm away from the cuticle and level it out.
- Cure completely for 120 seconds.
- File the shape and remove dust.
- Apply gel polish if desired.
- Seal with a top coat without a dispersion layer and cure for 120 seconds.
Application – Classic extension
- Prepare the natural nail, perform a manicure, and degrease thoroughly.
- Apply primer.
- Apply a thin layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base and cure for 60 seconds.
- Remove the dispersion layer and place the nail form.
- Model the free edge of the nail with Glass Gel and pre-cure for 30 seconds.
- File the shape and remove dust.
- Apply Rubber Base again on the filed areas and cure for 60 seconds.
- Model the structure with Glass Gel. The material can be pinched after 10–15 seconds.
- Subsequently, cure completely for 120 seconds.
- Remove the dispersion layer and apply gel polish if desired.
- Seal with a top coat without a dispersion layer and cure for 120 seconds.
Ingredients (INCI): Acrylates Copolymer, HEMA, Ethyl Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphinate. May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 15850, CI 19140, CI 77510.
Shelf life: 24 months. Store for a maximum of 18 months after opening.
