LUNAmoon Glass Gel №1 – transparent builder gel with a glass effect

Glass Gel is a light-curing gel for strengthening and extending nails. The transparent color effect creates a particularly beautiful, deep glass look.

Color intensity depends on the layer thickness: applied thinly, the color appears slightly transparent; with a layer of up to 2 mm, it becomes more intense but remains transparent.

• Medium to slightly fluid consistency
• Not sticky and easy to distribute with a brush
• Very good self-leveling properties
• Does not run during application
• Lower risk of air bubbles during application
• Suitable for strengthening natural nails
• Suitable for file-free modeling
• Suitable for extensions with Dual Forms
• Flexible against impacts and therefore less prone to cracks
• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and more fluid in warmth
• Can be gently warmed to make the consistency more fluid
• Does not cause a strong burning sensation in the lamp

Important

• Always requires a base layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base
• The free edge of the nail should be at least 1 mm thick
• Pre-fixation with a mini lamp: 10–15 seconds
• Recommended wavelength: 365–405 nm
• Recommended UV/LED lamp: 36–48 W
• Maximum layer thickness per cure: 2 mm
• Full cure: 120 seconds
• For material thicknesses over 3 mm, work in two steps with intermediate curing

Application – Strengthening

1. Remove old material and prepare the nail plate.
2. Lightly buff the nail with a 220-grit file or a 100-grit buffer.
3. Perform a manicure and thoroughly degrease the nail.
4. Optionally use a primer.
5. Apply a thin layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base and cure for 60 seconds.
6. Remove the dispersion layer.
7. Apply Glass Gel at a distance of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle and level it out.
8. Cure completely for 120 seconds.
9. File the shape and remove dust.
10. Apply gel polish if desired.
11. Seal with a non-wipe top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Application – Classic Extension

1. Prepare the natural nail, perform a manicure, and degrease thoroughly.
2. Apply primer.
3. Apply a thin layer of LUNAmoon Rubber Base and cure for 60 seconds.
4. Remove the dispersion layer and insert the form.
5. Model the free edge of the nail with Glass Gel and pre-cure for 30 seconds.
6. File the shape and remove dust.
7. Apply Rubber Base again to the filed areas and cure for 60 seconds.
8. Model the apex with Glass Gel. The material can be pinched after 10–15 seconds.
9. Then cure completely for 120 seconds.
10. Remove the dispersion layer and apply gel polish if desired.
11. Seal with a non-wipe top coat and cure for 120 seconds.

Ingredients (INCI): Acrylates Copolymer, HEMA, Ethyl Trimethylbenzoyl Phenylphosphinate. May contain: CI 77499, CI 77891, CI 15850, CI 19140, CI 77510.

Shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, store for a maximum of 18 months.
