Lunamoon PREMIUM BUILDER GEL No. 16 (15-50ml)

Classic Premium Extension Gel – a polymer light-curing material that, due to its strength, allows for significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that activate the polymerization process via UV light at a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free.

• Shock-absorbing, does not break under impact.

• Medium consistency.

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

• Suitable for "extension on dual forms".

• Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

• Becomes thicker in cold conditions and thinner in heat.

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when the brush moves.

• Can be additionally warmed to make the gel more fluid.

• Hard at a thickness of 1 mm. At a thickness of less than 1 mm, it may bend slightly, but this does not affect durability.

• No shrinkage and holds the arch well.

• Requires a base of Rubber Base.

• Polymerization wavelength – 380-420 nm.

• UV/LED lamp power – 36-48W.

• Maximum layer thickness – 0.5 mm at the tip/1 mm at the apex.

• Complete polymerization – 120 seconds.

Application Method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove.

2. The nail shape is not filed, or 2 mm of length is left, which is removed after leveling.

3. File with 180-240 grit without strong pressure on the nail from above to lift the nail plate, or with 100 grit.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. When using removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: take an orange wood stick, place a wipe over it, and wipe the cuticle area and side walls.

7. Use primer as desired; if the base for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, it is not required.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Movements should be massaging. Outline all nail edges and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

9. Wipe off the tacky layer.

10. Leveling. When leveling with gel, maintain a distance of 0.5–1 mm from the cuticle. Cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create thickness at the free edge so the free edge holds.

12. If the nail is thin, it may warp. Therefore, 1 mm of the natural nail must be filed out from underneath. This prevents material lifting. If the material is hard and the nail is very soft, the nail will separate from the solid material at the free edge.

13. After filing, wipe off the tacky layer and cover with gel polish.

14. Apply top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain the shine.

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove.

2. Shorten nail length to 1 mm and shape into a round form.

3. File with 180-240 grit without strong pressure on the nail from above to lift the nail plate, or with 100 grit.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. When using removers, wash hands with soap after working with them.

10. Attach the form for extending the free edge of the nail.

11. Apply clear gel to form the artificial nail. Cure under the lamp for 30 seconds.

12. File the free edge and adjust to the desired shape.

13. Wipe off the tacky layer and remove excess dust.

14. Re-apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base to the treated areas. Cure under the lamp for 30 seconds.

15. Level with gel, cure under the lamp, and set for the first 10–15 seconds. If the gel is very sticky or contains glitter, set for the first 20 seconds.

16. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds.

17. Wipe off the tacky layer before covering with gel polish.

18. Apply top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain the shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
