Lunamoon Diamond Gel No. 8 15ml

The classic Diamond building gel is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, enables a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

• Acid-free

• Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact

• Medium consistency

• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge of the nail

• Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique

• Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms"

• No burning in the lamp

• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures, thinner in heat

• Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed

• Can be additionally warmed to become more fluid

• Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm without compromising durability

• No shrinking, holds the C-curve well

• Requires a rubber base as a mandatory foundation

• Curing wavelength: 365–405 nm

• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W

• Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex

• Full curing time: 120 seconds

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

1. Remove the old coating

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to be removed after building

3. Roughen the surface with a 220-grit file without applying pressure or use a 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Use two passes with 4 lint-free wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then use a wooden stick and wipe to clean the nail edges and cuticles

7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if using a sufficiently acidic base

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 seconds

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Build with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds

11. File the shape after building to reinforce the nail tip

12. Thin nails: file out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting

13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish

14. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

CLASSIC EXTENSION:

1. Remove the old coating

2. Shorten the nail to 1 mm and round it off

3. Roughen with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer

4. Perform a manicure

5. If using removers, wash hands with soap

6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep – as described above

7. Use LUNAmoon Primer

8. Apply Rubber Base with a flat brush, cover all edges, cure for 60 seconds

9. Remove the dispersion layer

10. Apply the form for the free nail edge

11. Apply transparent gel for the extension, cure for 30 seconds

12. File the shape and finish forming

13. Wipe off the dispersion layer and remove dust

14. Apply Rubber Base again to the treated areas, cure for 30 seconds

15. Build with gel, place in the lamp and pinch between the 10th and 15th second. For sticky gel or glitter, pinch after 20 seconds

16. Cure for another 120 seconds

17. Remove the dispersion layer

18. Apply color polish

19. Apply top coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterwards to maintain the shine

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
