Candy color gel for nail extension is a polymeric, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows for a significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photoinitiators that trigger the polymerization process under UV light of a specific wavelength.

Features:

  • Acid-free.

  • Shock-absorbing, does not break upon impact.

  • Medium consistency.

  • Medium pigmentation, covers the free nail edge.

  • Suitable for the "extension without filing" technique.

  • Suitable for extension with "Dual Forms".

  • Does not cause a burning sensation in the lamp.

  • Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in warm temperatures.

  • Thixotropic – becomes more fluid when brushed.

  • Can be additionally warmed to make it more fluid.

  • Hard at a layer thickness of 1 mm. Slightly flexible at less than 1 mm, without compromising durability.

  • No shrinkage, holds the C-curve well.

  • Strictly requires a Rubber Base as a base coat.

  • Wavelength for curing: 365–405 nm.

  • UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.

  • Recommended layer thickness: 0.5 mm at the tip / 1 mm at the apex.

  • Full curing: 120 seconds.

Application method:

REINFORCEMENT:

  1. Remove old coating.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after the build-up.

  3. Roughen the surface with a 220-grit file without pressure or use a 100-grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands with soap.

  6. Degrease the nail with LUNAmoon Nail Prep. Perform two passes using 4 cellulose wipes (1 wipe per 5 fingers). Clean the surface first, then clean the nail edges and cuticle with a wooden stick and wipe.

  7. Use primer as desired – not necessary if the base is sufficiently acidic.

  8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush, coat all edges, cure for 60 seconds.

  9. Remove the dispersion layer.

  10. Build up with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure for 60 seconds.

  11. File the shape after the build-up to reinforce the nail tip.

  12. Thin nails: File out 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath to prevent lifting.

  13. Remove the dispersion layer and cover with color polish.

  14. Apply Top Coat, cure for 120 seconds. Do not wipe afterward to maintain the shine.
