Tutti Frutti Base is a camouflage base with colored flakes for covering and smoothing nails.


The LUNA-Base is a high-quality, professional colored nail base. It has an optimal consistency, which makes it easy to apply to the nail. It levels the nail surface and is highly resistant to chipping and other damage, ensuring long-lasting wear. Unlike a transparent base, the colored base can serve as the primary color and be applied directly under the top coat.

Properties:

  • Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

  • Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

  • Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

  • Curing time in the lamp – 120 seconds.

  • Can be heated additionally to make the consistency more fluid.

  • Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

  • Requires a rubber base as an underlay.

  • Has a pH value of 5-6.

  • The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W. It is essential that the lamp is an original product.

  • Can be easily removed either by filing or with liquid.

  • Provides 3-4 weeks of wear without peeling.

  • Elastic and flexible.

  • Important rule for leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

  • Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when the brush is moved during work.

  • Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

  • Has a medium consistency.

Application:

  1. Removal.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length, which will be removed after leveling.

  3. File the nail with a 180/240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If working with removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

  6. Degrease the nail with nail prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Take an orange wood stick, place the wipe on it, and wipe everything in the cuticle area and grooves.

  7. Use primer as desired, but if the base is sufficiently acidic for the underlay, it is not necessary.

  8. It is best to apply LUNAmoon rubber base with a flat gel brush. Use massaging movements. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

  9. Remove the tacky layer.

  10. Level with LUNAmoon Tutti Frutti. Cure under the lamp for 90 seconds.

  11. File the shape after leveling. This is necessary to create a thickness at the nail tip that supports the free edge.

  12. Remove the tacky layer.

  13. Cover with top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine might be lost.
