The LUNA-Base is a high-quality, professional colored nail base. It has an optimal consistency, making it easy to apply to the nail. It levels the nail surface and is highly resistant to chipping and other damage, which is why it is long-lasting. Unlike a transparent base, the colored base can serve as the main color and be applied directly under the top coat.

Features:

  • Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

  • Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

  • Hypoallergenic and has a neutral scent.

  • Drying time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

  • Can be additionally warmed up to make the consistency more fluid.

  • Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

  • Requires a Rubber Base as an underlayer.

  • Has a pH value of 5-6.

  • The power of the lamp for drying should be 36-48 W. It is essential that the lamp is original.

  • Easily removed by both filing and soaking off.

  • Provides 3-4 weeks of wear without peeling.

  • Elastic and flexible.

  • Important rule when leveling: The thickness at the tip of the nail should be 0.5 mm.

  • Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when the brush is moved during work.

  • Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

  • Has a medium consistency.

Application:

  1. Removal.

  2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm in length that will be removed after leveling.

  3. File the nail with a 180/240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

  4. Perform a manicure.

  5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

  6. Degrease the nail with nail prep. Perform two passes. Use 4 wipes for this (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Take an orange wood stick, place the wipe on it, and clean around the cuticle area and in the grooves.

  7. Use primer if desired, but if the base used for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, it is not necessary.

  8. It is best to apply the Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush. The movements should be massaging. Trace all the grooves of the nail and cure under the lamp for 60 seconds.

  9. Remove the sticky layer.

  10. Level with the Neon Base LUNAmoon. Cure under the lamp for 90 seconds.

  11. After leveling, file the shape. This is necessary so that a thickness is created at the tip of the nail to support the free edge.

  12. Remove the sticky layer.

  13. Cover with top coat. Cure under the lamp for 120 seconds. After drying, do not wipe with anything, as the shine could be lost.
