Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 8, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base with a "cat eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to the magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shimmer in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and self-level well. They do not require a dark base color, as they provide optimal color coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

• Drying time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be additionally warmed to make the consistency more fluid.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a base coat of Rubber Base.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The lamp power for drying should be 36-48 W. The lamp must be original.

• Easy to remove either by filing or with liquid.

• Provides a wear time of 3-4 weeks without chipping.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule when leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when moving the brush during application.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the existing coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape yet, or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Place the wipe on an orange wood stick and treat the cuticle area and the grooves with it.

7. Use primer if desired, but if the base is sufficiently acidic for the base coat, it is not required.

8. Apply LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

9. Remove the sticky layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of Cat Eye Base, place a bead for leveling, rotate the finger to level it, and shape the shimmer with the magnet. Cure each finger for 160 seconds under the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the nail tip to support the free edge.

12. Remove the sticky layer.

13. Cover with a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine could be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, do not store for longer than 18 months.
