Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 7, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base coat with a "cat's eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to a magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shine in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and self-level well. They do not require a dark base color, as they offer optimal color coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high opacity for the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral scent.

• Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be additionally warmed up to make the consistency more fluid.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a Rubber Base undercoat.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W. It is essential that the lamp is an original.

• Easily removable by both filing and soaking off with liquid.

• Provides 3-4 weeks of wear without peeling.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule for leveling: the thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: becomes more fluid when moving the brush during application.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the existing coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length to be removed after leveling.

3. Use a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure on the nail to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap afterward.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: wrap a wipe around an orange stick to treat the cuticles and grooves.

7. Use primer if desired, but if the base is sufficiently acidic for the undercoat, it is not required.

8. Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Cover all nail grooves and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

9. Remove the inhibition layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of the Cat Eye Base, place a modeling bead, turn the finger to level it, and use the magnet to shape the shimmer. Cure each finger for 160 seconds under the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the nail tip to support the free edge.

12. Remove the inhibition layer.

13. Cover with a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine could be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Do not store for longer than 18 months after opening.
