Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 6, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base with a "cat eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to the magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shimmer in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and self-level well. They do not require a dark base color, as they provide optimal color coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

• Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be additionally heated to make the consistency more fluid.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a base layer of Rubber Base.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The power of the lamp for curing should be 36-48 W. The lamp must be original.

• Can be easily removed either by filing or with liquid.

• Provides a wear time of 3-4 weeks without chipping.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule when leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when moving the brush during application.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the previous coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length that will be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap afterward.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: wrap the wipe around an orange stick to clean the cuticle and grooves.

7. Use primer if desired, though if the base used for the underlayer is sufficiently acidic, it is not required.

8. Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging movements. Cover all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds in the lamp.

9. Remove the tacky layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of Cat Eye Base, place a bead for leveling, turn the finger to self-level, and shape the shimmer with the magnet. Cure each finger for 160 seconds in the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the nail tip to support the free edge.

12. Remove the tacky layer.

13. Cover with Top Coat. Cure for 120 seconds in the lamp. Do not wipe after drying, as this may dull the shine.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, use within 18 months.
