Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 2, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base coat with a "cat eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to a magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shimmer in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and self-level well. They do not require a dark base color, as they provide optimal coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high opacity for the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

• Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be warmed up additionally to make the consistency thinner.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a Rubber Base undercoat.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W. The lamp must be an original model.

• Easily removed by filing or with liquid remover.

• Provides 3-4 weeks of wear without peeling.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule for leveling: the thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: becomes more fluid as you work with the brush.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length to be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap afterward.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: wrap the wipe around an orangewood stick and treat the cuticle area and grooves.

7. Use primer as desired, though if the base is sufficiently acidic for the undercoat, it is not required.

8. Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably using a flat gel brush. Use massaging movements. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

9. Remove the sticky layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of Cat Eye Base, place a bead for leveling, turn the finger to level it, and use the magnet to shape the shimmer. Cure each finger for 160 seconds under the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape so that the thickness at the tip supports the free edge.

12. Remove the sticky layer.

13. Cover with top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine might be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no longer than 18 months.
