Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 5, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base with a "cat eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to a magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shimmer in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and self-level well. They do not require a dark base color, as they provide optimal color coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

• Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be warmed up additionally to make the consistency more fluid.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W. The lamp must be original.

• Can be easily removed both by filing and with liquid.

• Provides a hold of 3-4 weeks without peeling.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule for leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when moving the brush during application.

• Does not run and self-levels very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the old coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape, or leave 2 mm in length to be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: Wipe the nail surface. Second pass: Place the wipe on an orange wood stick and use it to treat the cuticle and the grooves.

7. Use primer if desired, but if the base is sufficiently acidic for an underlay, it is not required.

8. Apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base, preferably with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

9. Remove the tacky layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of the Cat Eye Base, place a bead for modeling, turn the finger to level it out, and use the magnet to shape the shimmer. Cure each finger for 160 seconds under the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape to create thickness at the nail tip to support the free edge.

12. Remove the tacky layer.

13. Cover with a top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe after curing, as the shine could be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. After opening, store for no longer than 18 months.
