Lunamoon Cat Eye Base N 1, 13ml

Cat Eye Base is a base with a "cat's eye" effect.

The product contains small metal particles that react to a magnetic field, moving within the uncured layer of the coating to create a magical shimmer in the design.
These bases have a medium consistency and level out well on their own. They do not require a dark base coat as they provide optimal color coverage.

Features:

• Not suitable for leveling long nails without prior reinforcement.

• Provides high coverage of the natural nail due to high pigmentation.

• Hypoallergenic and has a neutral odor.

• Curing time under the lamp – 120 seconds.

• Can be additionally heated to make the consistency more fluid.

• Minimal shrinkage may occur during wear due to the elasticity of the base.

• Requires a Rubber Base underlay.

• Has a pH value of 5-6.

• The lamp power for curing should be 36-48 W. It is essential that the lamp is an original.

• Can be easily removed both by filing and with liquid.

• Provides a hold of 3-4 weeks without peeling.

• Elastic and flexible.

• Important rule for leveling: The thickness at the nail tip should be 0.5 mm.

• Thixotropic: Becomes more fluid when moving the brush during work.

• Does not run and levels itself out very quickly.

• Has a medium consistency.

Application:

1. Remove the existing coating.

2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length that will be removed after leveling.

3. File the nail with a 180-240 grit file without heavy pressure to lift the nail scales, or use a 100 grit buffer.

4. Perform a manicure.

5. If using removers, wash hands thoroughly with soap after use.

6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep in two passes. Use 4 wipes (1 wipe for 5 fingers). First pass: wipe the nail surface. Second pass: place the wipe on an orange stick and use it to treat the cuticle and grooves.

7. Use primer if desired, though it is not necessary if the base used for the underlay is sufficiently acidic.

8. It is best to apply the LUNAmoon Rubber Base with a flat gel brush. Use massaging motions. Trace all grooves of the nail and cure for 60 seconds under the lamp.

9. Remove the tacky layer.

10. Apply a thin layer of the Cat Eye Base, place a bead of product, turn the finger to level it, and shape the shimmer using the magnet. Cure each finger for 160 seconds under the lamp.

11. After leveling, file the shape so that the thickness at the nail tip is sufficient to hold the free edge.

12. Remove the tacky layer.

13. Cover with top coat. Cure for 120 seconds under the lamp. Do not wipe with anything after drying, as the shine might be lost.

Product shelf life: 24 months. Once opened, do not store for longer than 18 months.
